Where to Grab a Great Breakfast in Sunset Beach, NC
Mmmmm .... it's time for breakfast!
There is something special about grabbing breakfast on vacation. The comforting clatter of dishes behind the counter, the delicious smells of bacon, pastries and coffee, and a wonderful, homey atmosphere all contribute to our love of breakfast out on the town.
Luckily, the area around Sunset Beach has several wonderful spots where you can get all of this and more. Sunset Beach is a casual little town, so throw on your flip flops, head out the door and we will see you soon!
The Sunny Side Up Diner
This homey little cafe is great for families. They offer a well-priced, all-you-can-eat breakfast bar which includes assorted fruits, meats, eggs, potatoes, pastries, french toast, and more. They also have a huge variety of omelettes, breakfast combos, skillets, burritos and even crepes. Little ones can make a meal out of the sides alone.
Maverick's Java
Call for hours (910) 575-5282), since they can change depending on the season. They are usually open on the weekends all year.
Milk and Honey
Open from 7-2 every day (except Tuesday), Milk and Honey is a warm, clean, inviting space offering breakfast and lunch. This place is usually pretty crowded, and for good reason. The staff is very attentive and the food is great.
Try one of their unique "bowls", signature pancakes, chicken & waffles or an omelette.
Sarah's Kitchen
Definitely kid-friendly, Sarah's offers all your usual breakfast fare and has some nice outdoor seating, too. Enjoy great, friendly service!
The Beach House Cafe
The Beach House Cafe offers a high end breakfast menu.
It includes items like freshly baked muffins, açaí bowls, avocado toast, delicious omelettes, gluten free selections, vegan & vegetarian options, and different specials every week.
